Apps to Download: JD.com

JD.com (京东商城) is a site similar to Amazon. In China, it is known as one of the largest business to consumer sites a direct competitor to Alibaba. They sell just about everything and their prices are competitive with Amazon.com.cn, which personally I prefer. Lots of people use JD.com so try them out and figure out which one you prefer!

    1. The iPhone is quite superb right. I know what you mean about being unable to capture the situation through the phone cam, cos I tried during the haze in Singapore and it actually looked clearer in the phone than in reality. Haha.

Stay safe. I hope it clears asap!

    1. Well JD reminds me more of an Amazon of China versus Taobao is more like buy it now on Ebay but only with new stuff. I've also heard via news articles that JD is more often legitimate product versus Taobao has been criticized for not doing enough to remove fakes.

    2. Ah okay! So JD is also more well organized?
I have not signed up for the JD acc since it requires more info from me, which I am not sure if I can change after I land. So I'm waiting to sign up only after crossing.

Visa is taking quite a while~

    3. I much prefer Amazon.com.cn, I don't use JD but some people swear by it. JD isn't about being organized but it is one company versus Taobao is a aggregate of sellers, it isn't coming from one place.

    4. You can't imagine how happy I am to find someone who is using Amazon! I've been wanting to find out if there is any taxation for ordering from Amazon and iherb. Lol.
