Driving School Chinese Style

Out on my side of town is a large driving school. For a while I thought all these cars were some weird taxis, but once you see them driving it is pretty obvious from the crawling along and weird uncomfortable driving they are learning to drive. I guess they teach driving in mass, just like they do most things in China. I'm surprised they don't all crowd together in one car and take turns honestly.

My suggestion, hire new teachers for the driving schools, the aren't putting out quality drivers in this city!!

  1. Hi Shanna!
So glad to find your blog. I am moving to Beijing too- Shunyi actually, and have found your information very helpful. I am stressing over packing and shipping my winter clothes. I sure hope it doesn't take 6 months for my coat to arrive, I will be in trouble!
I honestly didn't know you could bring a box on an airplane instead of the second allowed suitcase. Something to consider if I don't end up buying another large suitcase.
I have more of your posts to read. Are eggs, milk products (yogurt) and chicken safe to eat now?

    1. Thanks Kristine! We eat local eggs and chicken and imported dairy products. Feel free to ask more questions and let me know when you arrive!
